The International Student Fashion Portal

The Half Hollow Hills Fashion Club
Winter, 2004

Hello Faye and Steve and Pat and Ellen and Corinne and Bill and Bette and Mike

Hello all
This is just a dummy sample of text that might appear at the beginning of a newsletter to be published on a web site. This page is not here to suggest design but rather to a) demonstrate that we can get the HHH Fashion Club on the Web with a minimal presence and sufficient contact information if anyone wants more information (in the meantime).. This minimal presence could certainly grow in design and in functionality. I am proposing this Newsletter to be the public Face of the Student Fashion Portal that links the Half Hollow Hills Fashion Club with similar groups in a) Spain (?), b)Portugal, c)France, d)England e)Bulgaria (?), f)The Netherlands, g)Romania (?), Argentina (?) As with the Classroom-to-Classroom Portal project (also known as Students Initiative for Peace) the International Student Fashion Club can be an instrument of peace, i.e. each "twinned" fashion club receives a Peace Pole (vis-a-vis Monica Willard/Faye Feller) and gives one in exchange. It serves as a "planted" symbol of good will between the students on either side of the portal.

In making this mock up Newsletter it was necessary for me to be a "theif" and copy these pictures from the web. In other words this document is to be used simply as a mockup for design purposes. No copyright permissions have

By now you should be getting the picture a little bit of using this web page as a portal between two collaborative "classrooms" in different parts of the world.

The current web address for this page is at http://eev2.liu.edu/westburyII/JG/camp2004/fashion/fashion_newsletter1.htm
