ABOUT TEAM
T.E.A.M. stands for Technology Education and Multimedia. As described on the C.W. Post School of Education Website, it is a master's degree in Computers in Education that is "nationally recognized for its innovative and ground-breaking approach to the use of technology in teaching and learning systems." The three main areas of TEAM are: Professional Growth and Scholarship, Collaboration and Technology. Our main text for the program is Peter Senge's Schools That Learn: A Fifth Disclipine Fieldbook for Parents, Educators, and Everyone Who Cares About Education, however we also explore websites, journal articles, professional workshops, and national conferences. Currently, we are working with Macromedia products such as Fireworks, Flash, and Dreamweaver. Our collaborative learning is showcased along with other projects in the Electronic Educational Village. Professionals considering enrolling in TEAM should visit http://edt.liu.edu/TEAM/NIndex.aspx to learn more.
