Macromedia Studio, Adobe Photoshop
and Microsoft Movie Maker
C.W Post's TEAM program has two major focuses that students are expected to master. The first and
foremost focus is the idea of construcivistic learning; learning on one's own. The program's second focus
on technology plays hand in hand with constructivism. We as students are expected to create projects
through our own personal learning by using technology. Although students are given technology time during class, students are expected to learn technology primarily on their own (G1-9).
We've used various types of technology and software throughout. Primarily we've used Macromedia Studio which involves Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash and Macromedia Fireworks. These programs are used to create webpages, create animations and graphics respectively. Adobe Photoshop is another graphics program that was used. In addition to Macromedia and Adobe, we've used Microsoft Moviemaker to create basic movies using video or digital graphics taken during digital photography.
The links on the left will take you to pages about the different types programs that we used. On those pages you will find various examples or artifacts that were created using the programs.
