Flash
My understanding of Flash has increased tremendously because of my participation in TEAM. I have learned how to use the program to create different types of activities: movies, coloring book activities, and even a multiple choice quiz. I also learned how to incorporate these Flash activities into web pages created in Dreamweaver. I am really proud of my growth in this area and I looking forward to continuing to develop my skills in Flash so that I can create other interactive activities in the future. Movie Maker
Movie Maker is a great program that is really simple to use. I have made a number of movies during the past two years using photographs I have taken. I was able to incorporate sound into the movies to improve the overall quality. I am very proud of the movies I have created and I am looking forward to continuing to use this program with my students in the future. Publisher
I was really excited to learn about the Publisher program. Previously I had over-relied on Microsoft Word but once I learned how to use Publisher I realized that the templates the program provides are extremely helpful and save a lot of time. One project I was very proud of was the brochure I had my students make after they read a book in Lit. Circle groups. Microsoft Word
For my yearly observation I conducted a lesson where my students worked in Literature Circles. I used Microsoft Word to create this lesson. After the lesson was over I reflected on the learning that occurred. Click on a link below to view the lesson plan I created for my observation and my reflection of this lesson:
